I did this activity with jhs 3rd graders. I prepared 100 laminated cards. Students worked in groups and raced to complete as many cards as possible before the bell rang. The contest was fun and intense.
Procedure
Fill in the missing letters. Make a grammatically correct sentence using ALL of the words listed on the card. Use any of the grammar points studied during the current term.
NB: For jhs 2nd graders , I asked them to choose a word, fill in the missing letters, translate the word into Japanese by using a dictionary. and write one English using the word selected word.
